8 big releases in 6 weeks – Kollywood’s unforeseen festival celebrations

 

This hasn’t happened before and now the fans are on the spree of enjoying the biggest blast across the forthcoming weeks. It all starts from tomorrow (September 13), where every weekend will have a big budgeted movie that starts with Sivakarthikeyan’s Seemaraja. September 20 will reportedly have the release of Vikram-Keerthy Suresh starrer Saamy Square. September 27 has a big moment for the entire South Indian industry as Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is scheduled for release. The film features STR, Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swami, Aditi Rao Hydari, Arun Vijay, Jyotika, Prakash Raj, Dayana Erappa, Aishwarya Rajesh and many others. October 4 will bring up the much awaited Vijay Sethupathi-Trisha starrer 96. It is not yet confirmed whether there are any big releases for October 12. For the moment, sources mention that Mammootty’s Peranbu and Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma are being planned up for releases. October 18 that marks the festive occasion of Aayutha Pooja will have Vishal’s Sandakozhi 2, Dhanush starrer Vada Chennai followed by Jyotika’s Kaatrin Mozhi as well. In addition, Vijay Antony’s Thimir Pidichavan also being planned for release on the same date, which is yet to be confirmed officially.
